I had the pleasure of working with some buddies to film a video so I've been messing with that this week. I cracks me up how with everything I've ever shot, it never comes out as I envision it during planning. I did thoroughly enjoy having someone else decide with directing. In fact, this video wasn't even my idea but my dude, Josh Tipton's. I'll be training him on filming so we can bust out a lot more content. He'll be not only another writer, director, but also my audio engineer. We'll be tailoring some songs to specific beats he makes and vis versa. Needless to say, I'm excited about what we can provide for laughs.

I've also been working on new paintings. Above is the finished picture of the painted buntings I was working on last saturday. Next to it is the cardinals that i literally just finished before sitting down to write this. Some times my paintings follow the same pattern as my films and they don't turn out like I planned. Sometimes that is a good thing and sometimes not. I wasn't overly thrilled with the shades in the cardinal painting but I still love it and the colors!

It looks to be customary for me to pop in here and say "oh gee wow! i haven't posted in a while" which is terrible and yet still happening. I'm not going to pepper you with whispers of sweet nothings by telling you that i'm going to post on a more regular basis. I'll try but I won't guarantee that. Life happens too fast and before you we all know it, years have passed and beards have grown and wrinkles have appeared. However, such is the nature of the beast, life has been constantly and unfailingly moving forward and quite the changes are being put into place and it's all exciting but time consuming. I'm working on a stronger hold on my duties in the companies i'm working with. As a stronger foundation is made, more fun is to be had, so cheers to the future.
What's going on with the website? Great question, me!
As it turns out i'm using this website as the best representation of who I am! Since I am working on so many things at once, not all those things can be shared and not always on the same platforms or within the same accounts. This obviously makes it difficult to find everything I'm working on. So this is pretty much a website and blog of all the things that I'm working on... to be completely redundant.
You'll be able to see my watercolor paintings and the occasional acrylic. I'll be posting my design illustrations as well. SE-KYU Short Films is another project I'm working on that'll basically be any kind of content creation or fun video I feel like doing. Special effects and animations included. And I still love photography so that'll occasionally pop up. There's a lot of content that will be posted here and all of it varying around a central point: Art by Me.
So enjoy all that I release and work on and send any suggestions or questions you may have!

It happened to be my birthday on the 11th. So I would like to say thanks to everyone that already knew and said "Happy Birthday"! I had a great day and night out so it was definitely a success. I finally got around to uploading the rest of the Inktober drawings, so you will be able to find those on the "Inktober" page. I'm working on a few new ideas and I'm really trying to focus on them so I follow through and finish them. So if you want to send me motivational emails to let me know I should get off my ass and work on those puppies, then that would be fantastic.
Looks like the sickness is going around in my town and maybe yours too. Looks like it is the season for that. Try and stay healthy everyone. Wash them hands and wipe them noses!
I've decided to film a little video at the end of November. So mid December I'll be releasing that to the public. Stay tuned for that beauty because it'll crack you up. Lots of cool things in the works! Thanks to everyone that supports whatever it is I'm up to, you people kick ass!
